E`qui*noc"tial (?), a. [L. aequinoctials, fr. aequinoctium equinox: cf. F. équinoxial. See Equinox.] 1. Pertaining to an equinox, or the equinoxes, or to the time of equal day and night; as, the equinoctial line.
